When you walk into the cozy (250 sq ft) space on a wintry day (like today, for instance), you’re greeted with warmth, color, and a smile. Yes, these friendly locavores will even remember your name and are committed to customer service of the highest caliber. Our favorite local (as in a 5 minute walk from my front door) grocery has hit it big. In the February edition of Food & Wine Magazine, Green Aisle Grocery owners and brothers Adam and Andrew Erace are featured in a three page spread. The article opens with information about their shop, which carries an impressive array of local sustainable food. It goes on to share some of Adam’s delectable “half-scratch” recipes which highlight in-stock ingredients. My favorite? Crisp Spiced Chicken with Hummus Vinaigrette (hint: replace couscous with quinoa if you’re gluten free). Though, if I were more of a dessert type, the Apple-Butter Ice Cream with Ginger-Chocolate Ganache doesn’t look too shabby either! Check out the full article.
Congrats, guys!
